Real Estate Tip
Sacramento home buyers are going nuts right now writing offer after offer on homes for sale and not being accepted by the home seller. There are several reasons why home buyers are finding real estate to be a bit challenging. Yes, we have very low inventory (fewer homes for sale) and this is one of the major issues home buyers are having today.
However, I can personally tell all home buyers that as a listing agent seeing quite a few offers come in on a home for sale, I’m amazed when I see offers with no PreApproval letter from a local lender. Notice I said LOCAL lender, no copy of the earnest money deposit check and no proof of funds.
3 Minimum Real Estate Requirements for Home Buyers
- PreApproval Lender Letter
- Earnest Money Deposit
- Proof of Funds
Home buyers this is elementary in terms of what you need to provide when making an offer on a home for sale. There are some extras that an experienced Sacramento REALTOR® will help you with but at least provide the minimum if you want your offer to be taken seriously.
Homes are selling selling for over list price so if you haven’t kept up with real estate it’s time to get aboard. It’s a tough real estate market and you need to make sure your REALTOR® helps to make your offer to the seller stand out.
