I had the pleasure of choosing homes for sale in Land Park and Curtis Park to show a home buyer relocating from Indianapolis to the Sacramento region. It was a pleasure to show most of the homes which were prepared and ready for showing. We saw several homes which have made the top list to show the home buyer’s wife when she arrives to stay for a month. It will be at that time the list will more than likely narrow and perhaps additional homes for sale added.
It seemed almost like clockwork or preplanned while viewing a home in Land Park the home buyer said he would love to have citrus trees … the next house on my list to show had several citrus trees! Amazed him as much as it amazed me…perfect timing.
And like so many, there was only 1 listing agent who contacted me to ask what the buyer thought about their seller’s home for sale.
As a listing agent, I usually give 24 hours before contacting the selling agent who showed one of my listings to ask what their buyers thought of the property and any feedback they have for the home seller. This is relatively easily done since the lockboxes if programed correctly will give the name of the Realtor, the agency and the Realtor’s phone number along with the date they showed the home for sale and the time of day. Just another way of being the best you can be for your home seller as a listing agent.

After showing homes for sale to home buyers this week in the Curtis Park area, eating at Crepeville and writing an offer it was time to get
“real” in real estate and talk to people who live, work, eat and enjoy the Curtis Park, Land Park and Midtown neighborhoods. After buying a house in Curtis Park or buying a house in Land Park or real estate in Midtown it’s always nice to know where some of the “best” places to go are around town.
And yes, Real Estate is selling. For those thinking of relocating to the Sacramento area, Curtis Park, Land Park and Midtown Sacramento are neighborhoods worth checking out. Take a look below are several of the neighborhoods in Sacramento and see which is the best fit for you.
These are not just neighborhoods, it’s a lifestyle!
In order for the reader to see not only homes in Curtis Park, Land Park and Midtown, it also helps to know what’s in the parks, where to shop, eat and live. This is my attempt to bring you my first interview with one of the managers at Taylors Market, Brian McNeil.
This is not a typical Safeway or Belair grocery market, this is a family owned grocery market that caters to the local customer and brings quality produce that is locally grown. Well, let Brian tell you all about Taylors Market…
This is the “in” place to shop for your groceries if you happen to be lucky enough to live in Curtis Park, Land Park and Midtown. Shhh don’t tell anyone but even people who don’t live here come and shop, here.
Did you happen catch the scoop from Brian’s video? Taylors Market will be opening up Taylors Kitchen right next door to the market in November. There will be fine wine, lunch, dinner, to-go-foods, chefs demonstrating cooking. It sounds like something to add to your calendar and not to miss. That will be a gala on opening day that you will want to attend!

Recently I was asked by a local artist to accompany her and several friends for lunch at the new Scotts Seafood on the River in South Land Park known as the Pocket in Sacramento.
It was actually the second time I had eaten at Scotts but I had not toured the hotel. I was honored to be asked and blown away by my friend’s talent.
I knew Claudia was an artist but had no idea the magnitude of her artist qualities until recently.
After being escorted in a white limo from Fretty’s Limousine Service and arriving to Scotts Seafood by the River for a delicious lunch and lady’s chat session we ventured over to the hotel side at Le Rivage. With the artist in tow we were all mesmerized by her enormous painting of the Goddess of the River in the lobby of Le Rivage.
We have one of our very own here in Sacramento that is of notoriety. And isn’t it nice to find a local artist that brings such talent to our community.
Claudia Iudice, artist and friend as well as 55 year resident of Sacramento living in Curtis Park was commissioned by Bob Leach, the builder of Le Rivage Hotel in Land Park on the River to paint several large River scenes for display in the hotel.
Claudia, known as “Carrie” is featured throughout the hotel with many life size paintings. She is also a docent at Crocker Museum and has been featured at many of Sacramento Art shows and galleries.
Land Park has a golden secret on the River at Le Rivage hotel. They are to be commended for show casing local talent like Claudia Iudice.
I highly recommend an evening at Scotts for fine dining in a wonderful atmosphere by the Sacramento River and then a luxury stay at the newly appointed Le Rivage Hotel where Luxury is second nature and Art abounds.
The Land Park and Pocket area of Sacramento is a beautiful area with wonderful homes and great neighborhoods. Land Park is a real estate dream come true now with this exquisite facility for all of us to enjoy.
Here is just a taste of the artwork by Claudia that you will see while staying or visiting at Le Rivage Hotel.

What a great time we had arriving in a stretch limo, having lunch at Scotts and then given a royal tour of the hotel.
Each room in the hotel exhibits original photography taken by the owners on their travels.
It was a privilege to be included in such a wonderful day with such inspiring friends.
Enjoy the videos of our tour at Le Rivage Hotel by the River.
So, if you have an anniversary coming up, live in the neighborhood and wondered what the new place is like, or moving to Sacramento and need a place to stay, by all means Le Rivage will not disappoint you.
Now, if you would like to view homes in the Land Park area and Pocket area for sale please click on Land Park MLS.
There is plenty of real estate and homes for sale in the Land Park and Pocket area to fit all home buyers budget plans. Give me a call, I’d be happy to show you what this great area of Sacramento has to offer.
