Rancho Murieta Deal SMELLS Like Fish!

Smelly fish Did you happen to watch Channel 10 Monday night when they aired a fishy story about a home that sold in Rancho Murieta?

Was this an inside job? Does this happen in other areas? Is there a cover up?

Well, for those who didn’t happen to see the news, it seems that a 3,803 square foot under priced luxury home sold in a mere 13 minutes from being entered into the MLS.

You ask yourself why is that so unusual? It IS… and in this case it seems that this house was a bank owned home for sale for about $200,000 under the going market for an asking price of $460,000. You ask, who was the bank? Oh, the bank was US Bank.

Ready for the kicker, the smelly fish?

Seems the asset manager for US Bank, Linda Merrihew who just so happens to own a home in Rancho Murieta and “guided the property through the foreclosure process” has a son Lance Merrihew who bought this under-priced luxury home in 13 minutes. oh yes, he owns another home in Rancho Murieta, too. (Someone made a mistake on the sold price. MLS says $460,000 and the tax records say $465,000). The smell just continues. Do you think the share holders at US Bank know about this one???

The fish smell is tremendous on this one! It smells all the way from Rancho Murieta to Sacramento.

Bet you wish your mother worked as an asset manager and you could underpay and get a house in 13 minutes from it going public on MLS. Wow, that’s pretty fast offering writing and approval! Be sure to read Realtors Question Rancho Murieta Foreclosure Sale.

Hey, maybe that’s a solution for all the home buyers having trouble getting their offers accepted…I’ll just become an asset manager…or not.

Rancho Murieta is about 37 minutes from Downtown Sacramento heading east. It is an upscale, planned community on Hwy 16. With an 18 hole championship golf course, a county club, tennis courts, five lakes, townhouses along with single family homes on quarter -- acre estate lots with a guarded entrance for both the North and South side entrances.

Rancho Murieta has an equestrian center , post office, restaurants, shopping center and a private air port just outside the guarded gates.

There are many communites and cities within the Sacramento County area to chose. I hope this helps home buyers in their selection in getting to know a little bit about all the many areas Sacramento has to offer.

Rancho Murieta California Is A Secret

Rancho Murieta is a community tucked away from the bustle and the hustle of the Sacramento region. Shhhh, its a secret!

Rancho Murieta is located 30-40 minutes east from downtown Sacramento on hwy 16. . It is an exclusive area with two 18 hole championship golf courses, country club and several lakes, tennis courts and a fabulous equestrian facility near by.

As a Home Buyer, it is important to know if an area is one that you would feel comfortable living in, that is one of the reasons I have decided to supply you with tour of the different areas. If you are on your way to Jackson in Amador County, then you passed Rancho Murieta. This sign above, welcomes visitors and lets you know that there are two ways to go in Rancho Murieta before you pass by…go one way and you will be able to shop in the quaint shopping area or continue on your way and go to the airport. The opposite way takes you directly into the gated and guarded community of Rancho Murieta, where retirees and families live in harmony, together.

The Amador Regional Transit bus picks up those traveling to Downtown Sacramento thereby alleviating the residence traveling in each of their cars and gets them to L Street in Sacramento by 8 a.m. in an airport style bus.

The play area as you enter into the complex serves several purposes…children playing and the high school students who drive down and park their cars to take the bus to school and return for pick-up. It’s a bustling little place when the buses drop off the students. And it is common place to see a golf cart pull-up to pick-up a child who the school bus just dropped off. Elementary students attend Cosumnes River Elementary, Katherine Albiani Middle School and Pleasant Grove High School all in the Elk Grove Unified School District.

The lakes and fountains at Rancho Murieta give a sense of peace and tranquility to the area. Condos, homes both large scale and smaller scale can be found here. Something for everyone. It is par for the course to see the golf carts jutting along the road, with bikers and walkers alike. Great little community with much to offer a Home Buyer. On my visit, the wild turkeys were having a great time and enjoying life in and around Rancho Murieta…what a sight!

Rancho Murieta has 3,500 gently rolling acres with a variety of homes from townhouse complexes to estate properties.
