top-101.jpgThe top 10 Real Estate Cities are based on the availability of jobs, the lowest unemployment numbers, a 5 year growth rate, employment opportunities as well as a 1 year growth rate.

These rankings were calculated on 100 of the largest labor markets based on short and long term trends. The study was conducted on midyear data and compiled by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics from 2001 to the current year, 2006.

The following Cities are in order of strong job growth, and low unemployment rates which in Real Estate language constitutes good resale and superb investment market for the Real Estate investor.

1. Cape Coral – Fort Myers Florida
2. Las Vegas
3. Phoenix
4. Sarasota – Bradenton Florida
5. Orlando
6. Riverside – San Bernardino CA
7. Lakeland Florida
8. Boise Idaho
9. Washington DC
10. Miami – Fort Lauderdale

Sacramento area ranked 27th out of 100 having 904,400 jobs, a growth rate from 2001-2006 of 9.74% (80,300 jobs) and a 2.38% increase in 1 year from 2005 to 2006 (21,000 jobs).
