Home Buyers Have You Checked Your Realtor’s License

Take a ride with Sacramento Realtor, Gena Riede for a very important tip that you as a Sacramento home buyer, home seller and anyone looking for a real estate loan should do to protect yourself.

How many of you know that the CA Dept. of Real Estate has mandated that ALL Realtors and Lenders MUST provide their license number on their business cards, blogsites, website, and advertising fliers?

Click and check the Dept. of Real Estate for the license of the person you are working with.  Many people have DBA’s so be sure to check the license number and that will bring up all the DBA’s for that individual.

There unfortunately are people out there who are working without a license. You need to protect yourself and check the CA Dept. of Real Estate website to check whether or not the person you are working with is licensed. If there have been problems and citations with that individual, the Department of Real Estate website will have that information noted.

Be smart and check those licenses. And if you find a website, blogsite or business card without the appropriate license number, be sure and report that to the CA Dept. of Real Estate.
