Rancho Murieta is about 37 minutes from Downtown Sacramento heading east.  It is an upscale, planned community on Hwy 16.   With an 18 hole championship golf course, a county club, tennis courts, five lakes, townhouses along with single family homes on quarter – acre estate lots with a guarded entrance for both the North and South side entrances.

Rancho Murieta has an equestrian center , post office, restaurants, shopping center and a private air port just outside the guarded gates.
