January 2007 Home Sales Report For Sacramento Real Estate

This will give you a great insight into what the price per square foot is within a community always keeping in mind, of course the age, condition and location of the property.

Here are the January homes that are listed for sale in Sacramento County, the homes in Pending Sale and the homes that SOLD (Jan.2007 Stats). The Statistic page represents each City/Community in Sacramento County where it is a good idea to become familiarized with the current prices as well as the SOLD prices. You will be noticing over the next few days that my great IT person, Jason is making changes to the Statistic page where you will be able to pull up previous months of statistics for each of the Counties and do some comparison shopping by month and soon by year (as the months go by). Currently, there is a glitch and 2006 shows for the January Statistic page however, it is the January 2007 stats. These statistics are averages, so there are lower and higher Solds in each of the areas. The more information you have at your finger tips, the better you will understand how much a community/city average costs are when deciding to buy or sell.

As an overview of the Sacramento County area Statistics for the month of January all totaled as a combination of all City/Communities there were:

2,826 Homes For Sale in January 2007 with an average of 2038 sq.ft. for $401,739

1,035 Homes accepted offers that had an average of 1709 sq.ft for $392,662

751 Homes SOLD with an average of 1683 sq.ft. for an average price of $375,694.
