Downtown Midtown Sacramento is definitely the place to live, work, shop and eat. Zipcar just came to Sacramento. These cars will be parked on the street for residents, downtown workers and visitors to use either by the hour or by the day at a very nominal fee. No longer will you need a car when living Downtown Sacramento which means savings on parking and upkeep on cars! Not to mention less Co2 emissions and demand on parking.

There will be pods of 2 vehicles located in front of City Hall on I street between 9th and 10th, L Street at 16th, 18th St at Capitol Ave and 28th Street at J Street. You can go on-line to reserve a zipcar.
ZipCars will be parked whenever you see the zipcar sign. Green is definitely Downtown Sacramento and my guess is that there will be more street with ZipCars. What a great idea!
Can you imagine, living in one of the fabulouse Midtown Lofts, walking to the finer restaurants after working Downtown, shopping in the boutiques and then on the weekend reserving a Zip Car to drive to Tahoe or Napa? I understand Dan Grossman, ZipCar’s regional vice president went to school at Sacramento State University and he will be offering the ZipCar to the faculty and students to reserve right there on campus.
