Sometimes it seems a little overwhelming when you first think about buying a house or condo. As a Sacramento Realtor ® helping home buyers, home sellers, investors and buyers relocating to the Sacramento area, I explain to home buyers the details of home buying.
Disclosures are just one of the many aspects of home buying. Depending on the contract, the home buyer will typically have 17 days in which to read all the disclosures and determine if they want to continue buying the house or condo.
Of course during those 17 days, hopefully the home buyer is also conducting all inspections.
It is always important for home sellers to disclose all pertinent information about their house or condo for sale. There will also be outside, 3rd party disclosures for the home buyer to read and sign.
Once the home buyer has read and signed all disclosures as well as having all inspections, then it is time to release contingencies.
