First Time Home Buyer who works as a State employee called me 2 weeks ago & said one of her co-workers told her to call me since she had been trying to get a house to buy since January, unsuccessfully. Ashely’s co-worker was a past First Time Home Buyer (watch the video below and find out who REALLY is a 1st Time Home Buyer) of mine who bought a home in Elk Grove and I always so appreciate my past clients referring me business. A BIG Thank you to Dana for introducing me to Ashley, the First Time Home Buyer! There will be a nice thank you coming your way once we have closed on Ashley’s new home, Dana.
The first offer we wrote was accepted and what made this even nicer was the listing agent stating she would much rather work with me than some of the other agents who wrote offers. I thoroughly understood since so many times we get contracts not filled out correctly. It makes for a much better real estate transaction when a REALTOR® is working with another experienced REALTOR®.
The First Time Home Buyer will be having her home inspection this week and is thrilled to be in contract on a Sacramento home with an excellent commute to her State job. Ashley is amazed that she only saw me twice & wrote one offer when she had been looking with another agent since January. The funny part of this real estate story is, the co-worker now spends her time saying, “I told you so!” One of the drawbacks that made it so difficult for this First Time Home Buyer to get in contract on a house was that she was working with an agent from over 2 Counties away.
Do you know WHO is a First Time Home Buyer? Bet you think you know the answer…check this video out that I did several years ago.
When a REALTOR® states you should work with an agent who is local, it doesn’t mean in the neighborhood that you want to live in but someone who knows the area, can get to the neighborhood within a 30-45 minute ride. I help home buyers and sellers in Sacramento County, parts of Placer County, parts of El Dorado County and part of Yolo County. You notice, I say “part,” this is because I don’t go to all parts simply because some areas are just too far and better left to the REALTORs who work in that area. Where does your REALTOR® work? Are they within a reasonable 30-45 minute commute?
Soon, I will be doing what I love best, giving the keys to a home buyer for their new home! I’d love to help you, next so just give me a call.

Nice job, Gena. So many buyers are getting frustrated to submit contract after contract, while not getting one accepted. Way to go!!
Thanks, Ryan. My luck has been quite good with many of my buyers and they are thrilled after hearing how long it has taken for so many home buyers to get accepted.
