Sacramento Real Estate is Hot in Midtown

Sacramento Real Estate is hot and hopping in Midtown Sacramento on 16th & J Street.  The word Downtown Sacramento is that  the new CA governor, Jerry Brown and his wife will be making their home at the Loftworks in a one bedroom corner ultra modern loft.

Mikuni Japanese Restaurant is located on the street side right under Loftworks along with PF Chang’s China Bistro.

The Loftworks converted a dilapidated 1922 automotive showroom called the Elliott Building back in 2003 and completed its resoration in 2005 to a mixed-use building over  two of Sacramento’s finest restaurants.

Apparently, Jerry Brown will be renting this loft to avoid commuting to his home in Oakland.  During  Brown’s first years as Governor he rented an apartment at 1400 N Street.  Convenience to the Capital and living where the action is, appears to be  Jerry Brown’s style.

Midtown real estate will be shining for the new Governor and his wife and the restaurants nearby will be packed in hopes of having sushi next to Jerry Brown.

Ultra modern inside, the Loftworks with brick, steel, concrete polished flooring, 12 foot high ceilings and exposed beams,  give a skyline view of Midtown and Downtown Sacramento.  I hear that Bistro 33 offers room service as well and of course there is security with a video call box so as to allow guests access only by those living at Loftworks.

Midtown Sacramento is the place to live with clubs, cafes, coffee houses, boutiques, theaters, art galleries, restaurants, bars and lounges.  So, it’s no wonder Jerry Brown has picked Midtown Sacramento as the place he wants to reside while Governor.
