Sacramento home buyers are never going to have it as good as they have it now. Interest rates are incredibly low. I know, as a Sacramento Realtor ® I personally will never see interest rates this low again in my lifetime. With home prices down and interest rates low, that means your house payment for a home would more than likely be less than it costs to rent a house.
Do I think home prices will go down? Yes, probably due to several factors, one being unemployment, and high inventory as well as more homes being foreclosed. But do I think that we will see a significant drop? No, I don’t. If I were a Sacramento home buyer I wouldn’t want to take the chance of missing out on getting a loan for this unprecedented low interest rate we are seeing today.
And for all those who are homeowners with equity and a job, refinance today. This is one heck of a deal and you will NEVER need to refinance again. Can you tell I’m excited? Unreal…I’ve never seen interest rates so low.

Gena, I’m kind of a lurker. I’ve been RSSing your blog for several months, and really appreciate all the great information you provide here. I am concerned, though, about you shooting video for this blog while you’re driving. It’s extremely unsafe!
You’re such a great cheerleader for Sacramento. With all due respect – and I mean that – please make our streets safe for all of us by not video taping, talking on your cell phone, or texting while driving!

I thank you for your email and concern as well as your readership. The video camera is attached to the dashboard. I don’t touch it or hold it . I simply talk, just like I would if someone was sitting in the car next to me. Same thing. Both hands are always on the wheel and both eyes are on the road. Everyone is safe.
And no I never hold my cell phone. The call comes through my GPS or through my ear piece depending on whether or not I am wearing an ear piece. But, I don’t hold my phone.
I do thank you for your concern but wanted to make sure that you were aware that it is no different than talking to a passenger next me and we all talk to the people that are in our cars.
