Sacramento Short Sale Sellers
All short sale sellers are to be treated with dignity and respect. The short seller is the boss! The short sale seller hires the Realtor® and the short sale seller can fire the agent, as well. I was so amazed to receive a call the other night from a Sacramento short sale seller who was obviously a young woman who told me her short sale agent yells at her and she wanted to know and clarify if some of the things the short sale agent told her were true.
There is a very line other Realtors must walk when asked to verify what another agent has said. It is always best if you have issues with the listing agent to contact their Broker and ask those questions. But, I will tell you that no agent should ever yell at a buyer or seller. That is something that should never be tolerated.
This is just another very good reason why it is so essential that home buyers and home sellers work with someone local. We have Southern CA Brokers and Bay Area Brokers taking listings here in Sacramento which is a real pickle when a home buyer or home seller needs to contact the illusive Broker.
My suggestion is always hire locally and check out where the real estate Broker resides…you never know when you may need to contact the Broker.
