There were so many Sacramento home buyers who purchased homes these past few years that I thought I would provide all the new homeowners a video on just how to put a claim into a home warranty company when something goes wrong in your new home.
Yvonne Nelson from Fidelity Home Warranty Company outlines how easy it is for a homeowner to call or email when something stops working at your home or condo in order to have the home warranty kick-in. There is a service call cost when a professional is dispatched to fix an item. According to the brochure for Fidelity National Home Warranty, the fee is $55 or the actual cost of the the service, whichever is less.

There is no landlord to take care of the maintenance of your home or condo. You are the landlord and that is part of the responsibility as a homeowner you took on when you bought your new home or condo. That’s the part that sucks but there are so many good things about being a homeowner such as:
- a nice tax deduction
- painting whatever colors you want
- knowing you don’t have to move because the landlord wants to sell
- building equity
- pride of ownership
- having pets without having to ask the landlord
