Water, Mow or Pay Fines

Do you live in Sacramento County? ThankYou CardHave you noticed the front yards that are burned up in your neighborhood?

Have owners left their houses and their homes are bringing the value of your neighborhood down?

Have you figured out that the home with brown grass is a Foreclosure or Bank Owned?

Have you noticed that no one seems to be taking care of that house next door or down the street?

Is there a For Sale sign that says Bank Owned and the grass is brown and weeds are growing?

There is finally some help coming! Sacramento County has finally gotten the message that something needs to be done.  This blithe is hurting neighborhoods.

Sacramento County Supervisors will vote next Tuesday to impose fines on vacant Owners, Banks and Lenders to abolish this mess in each of the neighborhoods that has been plaguing everyone for the past year.

Once the Sacramento County Supervisors pass this ordinance, the fines will range from $500 to $5,000.

Neighbors are fed up with the lack of concern for property that is being seen. Sacramento County Code Enforcement needs to be called at 916.875.5656 to report an address where you might see lawns not being taken care of, fences falling down and debris on property. Let’s all help by calling on these homes and getting the message across that Owners, Banks and Lenders are responsible for maintaining houses.
