Midtown Information

If you haven’t heard, Midtown Sacramento celebrates Art and Music the Second Saturday of every month. From T Street to I Street and from 10th Street to 22nd Street.

Check out the Midtown Grid as well as the free shuttle available from Gallery to Gallery. Midtown also hosts the 2nd Saturday which highlights different local artists.

Music and Art in Midtown Sac on the 2nd Saturday of each month has grown leaps and bounds where it has become necessary to ask musicians to move to other locations Downtown due to the overwhelming array of sound on each corner.

It’s a happening place in Midtown Sacramento. Check it out this Saturday and wear your walking shoes and celebrate the street fair atmosphere of art and music explosion.  Not surprising that the walkability in Midtown rates a 94 for neighborhood walkability.

Midtown Living

Midtown is the heartbeat of Sacramento. Located in the Sacramento Downtown area bordered by the American River on the north, Highway 50 on the south, the Sacramento River on the west and Business 80 on the east.

Fun Things to Do in Midtown

In Midtown there is an Art Walk every second Saturday of the month.  The galleries host an open house evening starting at 6 pm until 9 pm.

On the second Sunday of every month from 6:30 am to 3 pm is the Sacramento Antique Faire between W & X Street on 21st Street.

Public Transportation
The Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT) operates 80 bus routes and 27 miles of light rail covering a 418 square-mile service area. Buses and light rail run 365 days a year using 65 light rail vehicles, 220 buses powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) and 20 diesel buses. Buses operate daily from 5:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the route. Light rail trains operate from 4:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. daily with service every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes in the evening.
